Standard Terms and Conditions of Sale
Prices
All prices, quotations, and specifications are subject to change, and we reserve the right to discontinue the sale of any item without prior notice. We accept orders only at current prices in effect at the time an order is placed and will not be bound by expired quotes or price lists.
Terms
We offer Net 30 terms to cities, fire departments and other municipal/government organizations. We also extend Net 30 terms to business customers on a case-by-case basis when approved by our credit department. We cannot offer terms to third party purchasers based on the end user’s credit. If you have been approved to purchase on net terms, please email your purchase order to sales@camlockdirect.com. If this is your first time ordering with us, please include a copy of your tax exempt certificate if applicable. Please note we cannot refund taxes after an order is placed. If you are required to pay state or local sales tax, include the sales tax amount on the P.O. or it will be returned. All other accounts will be shipped on a COD or Credit Card basis only. Note: There is a $50.00 charge for all returned checks. Accounts with returned checks will be placed on cash only terms.
Please be sure your purchase order contains your organization or department letterhead along with the responsible person, billing address, shipping address, part number(s), quantities and prices. To be sure your P.O. is processed in a timely manner, please verify current pricing on all line items using our website.
Net 30 purchase order terms are subject to suspension if payments are repeatedly late or if unpaid invoices are outstanding. All past due accounts are subject to a late payment charge of 1.5% per month, or maximum allowed by law. Collection expenses, including reasonable attorney's fees, may also apply. Shipping and Handling
Sales are FOB, point of shipment, unless prior arrangements are made.
Free Shipping
We offer free shipping for most orders over $100.00 to the contiguous U.S. Certain items are exempt from free shipping, so please check your shopping cart during checkout for any additional handling fees.
Orders to Alaska or Hawaii are excluded from Free Shipping and will be charged for shipping in the shopping cart. We will always notify you before shipping any order requiring additional shipping charges, not specified at checkout. Customers can decide at that time if they would like to proceed with the order.
Paid Domestic Shipping
For orders that don’t qualify for free shipping, shipping cost is determined in the shopping cart based on delivery address. Residential addresses may have higher shipping cost than commercial addresses. We do not ship to P.O. boxes. Most of our packages ship via FedEx or UPS, but items may also be sent through various other common carriers. We reserve the right to ship using the carrier of our choosing. If you have a preferred carrier you would like to use, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate any requests.
Same Day Shipping
Most orders with inventory in stock will ship the same day if your order is placed during normal business hours. Our business hours are Monday - Friday (Eastern Standard Time, excluding holidays). We cannot guarantee orders placed after 3:00pm EST will ship the same day. Additionally, items marked Custom or Special Order will ship via ground service when they are available to ship. We do not process orders to ship on Saturday, Sunday, or federal holidays.
Express Shipping
If you need your items faster, we offer 1-day and 2-day shipping options via FedEx and UPS for most items sent to addresses within the continental U.S. (excluding Alaska and Hawaii). Express shipping may not be available in all areas, and certain items are not eligible for express shipping.
If you require morning or Saturday delivery, please call to discuss the options available to your location. Standard expedited service is for delivery by end-of-day.
Weekend Delivery
FedEx ground shipments to residential addresses consider Saturday as a normal delivery day for weekend deliveries and transit times. Saturday delivery is usually only available only for residential ground shipments, and other certain express shipping options. Please call us if the need is urgent.
Freight/LTL Shipping
For freight shipment deliveries, please provide a commercial address located in a business district with a business name. Freight deliveries to residential addresses or limited access sites (military, schools, etc.), as well as destinations determined to be in need of a lift gate, will incur an additional charge(s). If you are unsure whether your address listed is residential or commercial, please contact us directly.
Customer Account Shipping
If you have a preferred carrier you would like to use, or if you would like to ship signature required, please call; there will be a small additional fee.
Shipping and Handling Fee
Some oversized items may include an additional handling fee that will show in the shopping cart during the checkout process. The handling fee is typically assessed once per SKU, regardless of how many units are ordered. If freight shipping is available, multiple units can usually ship on one pallet. These items, and other select products marked Custom or Special Order, may not be able to ship express and may require lead times before shipping.
We will provide you with a shipping and handling quote during checkout. We make our best effort to calculate these costs at the time you place your order; however, in the event of a significant shipping calculation error, or rise in shipping carrier costs, we reserve the right to request a shipping surcharge. If this happens, the customer has the right to cancel any applicable orders. We do our best to avoid any unexpected surcharges.
Shipping Liabilities
Please note that we do NOT have control over delivery times changing after packages are given to the shipping carrier. This also includes lost packages, delivery address errors, delays, goods damaged during delivery, and other issues that may occur throughout the shipping process.
We do our best to prevent these things from happening but cannot guarantee any issues that are not foreseeable. We can assist you in helping you find lost items, checking shipment status, and rerouting packages in transit. Please contact us if you have questions or need help during the shipping process.
International Orders
We do not currently ship outside of the U.S. On special occasions, we will ship international if the customer has a business account with a U.S. based carrier. If goods are required for export, customers may utilize a freight forwarding company or other domestic destination to take delivery of goods at a U.S. address. International orders must ship to a U.S. based freight forwarder or other U.S. address. Any subsequent fees, taxes, export duties, etc. fall solely on the responsibility of the buyer. Customer Satisfaction
Customer satisfaction is our primary goal. If you are not satisfied with our products or service, please call as soon as possible and we will do our very best to see that you are satisfied.
Returns
Product must be in new and resalable condition:
- No refunds will be issued without contacting us
- Requests for a return must be made within 30 days from delivery Buyer is subject to return shipping cost and 20% restocking fee (excluding orders under $100)
- Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable, and customer is still responsible for return shipping
Products that may NOT be returned:
- Special Order products
- Non-standard hose length and/or threads
- All 3" NH or 2" NH products
- Products that have been shipped out of the country
General Information
Please read the product description page carefully for details on hose construction materials, warranty, test pressures, etc. Please pay special attention to the standard coupling and thread types specified or selected for that hose, adapter, valve or other product. The most common causes of returns are either the wrong thread or the wrong diameter size was selected. You are responsible for the final selection of all products.
Limited Warranty
General Limited Warranty: Except as otherwise specifically set forth below or in the manufacturer’s then-current standard written warranty (if any) for the product purchased, we warrant that the product, upon delivery only, will be free of defects in material and workmanship. Any product found to be defective upon delivery and returned within 30 days shall be replaced without charge. Consult specific product descriptions on our website for more warranty period information.
Aluminum Adapter Limited Lifetime Warranty
We warrant our aluminum adapter products to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal usage for the lifetime of the product. In the event of a covered defect within the warranty period, we will, at our option, replace or repair the product without charge.
This warranty does NOT cover gasket failure, over-use of National Pipe Thread (NPT) threads, cosmetic damage, normal wear-and-tear, negligence or inadequate care, improper use, or chemical damage, all as defined and determined by us. In order for equipment or parts purchased from CamlockDirect.com to be deemed eligible for warranty criteria, the item(s) in question must be purchased directly from our website. Our warranty does not cover second-hand market purchases, nor does it transfer from another reseller or to another buyer.
Fire Hose Limited 10-Year Warranty
We warrant our fire hoses to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal usage for a period of ten (10) years from the date of delivery. Fire hoses purchased for use at fire training facilities will have a 90-day warranty only. In the event of a covered defect within the warranty period, we will, at our option, replace or repair the product without charge.
This warranty does NOT cover gasket failure, threads, cosmetic damage, normal wear-and-tear, negligence or inadequate care, improper use, or chemical damage, all as defined and determined by us. In order for equipment or parts purchased from CamlockDirect.com to be deemed eligible for warranty criteria, the item(s) in question must be purchased directly from our website. Our warranty does not cover second-hand market purchases, nor does it transfer from another reseller or to another buyer.
How to Obtain Warranty Coverage
If you are having issues with a product purchased from us, contact us directly to request a warranty claim. CamlockDirect.com reserves the right to deny any sole individual, company, entity or body warranty remedies if we determine item(s) do not meet warranty criteria, as well as the right to inspect the item upon return before determining a solution. All warranty claim submissions must be approved by our Customer Service department before returning product to us. All products are subject to inspection and testing. Buyer is responsible for return shipping. We are not responsible for any loss or damage to the product incurred during shipping.
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APPLICABLE PRODUCT WARRANTY IS GIVEN EXPRESSLY AND IS THE ONLY WARRANTY GIVEN BY US WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCTS AND STATES THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES FOR BREACH OF WARRANTY. WE MAKE NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULL EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE HEREBY SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIM ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE, IN CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, FOR INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER WE WERE INFORMED ABOUT THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, AND IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR LIABILITY EXCEED AN AMOUNT EQUAL TO THE SALES PRICE OF THE PRODUCTS. THE FOREGOING LIMITATIONS SHALL APPLY TO THE FULL EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. BUYER ASSUMES ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE FINAL SELECTION, TESTING AND VALIDATION OF PRODUCTS PURCHASED FROM US AND THE FITNESS OF SUCH PRODUCTS FOR BUYER’S APPLICATION.
Export Compliance
You agree that you will comply with all export compliance laws and regulations with respect to products you purchases from, or information you obtains from, us. This includes but is not limited to, compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), the sanctions and embargoes maintained by the Office of Foreign Asset Controls (OFAC), and any other applicable laws and regulations related to the export or deemed export of goods or information.
