What Threads are on Camlock Fittings?

Camlock fittings are available in National Pipe Tapered (NPT), British Standard Pipe (BSP), Garden Hose Thread (GHT) and Fire Hose (NH) thread. The most common thread found on camlocks nationwide is NPT.

A male camlock with NPT threads will connect to any female with the same threads. A male NPT thread will also connect to any female NPSH fitting.

Connections that are a male NPT to female NPT seal with threads. Connections that are male NPT to female NPSH will seal with a gasket.
