What are Camlock Fittings used for?

Camlocks have several benefits over traditional threaded connections, such as speed and simplicity. Camlock fittings can be connected and removed with latch-and-release arms, providing the ability to swap connections quickly. 

Additionally, cam locks have a wide variety of uses: they can be used to efficiently change hoses without needing unique thread types, and do not need to be tightened. Also, they are usually more cost-effective than the adapter counterparts.

Camlocks are a great option if you are seeking an unpressurized system, pump connection, suction hose with a strainer, water trucks, water transfers, agricultural and more.

It is not recommended to use camlocks for high-pressure applications, or with hoses with air.
